Mechanical Boat on Waves

Very early German mechanical crank toy, c. 1890. The boat moves to and fro as it is cranked. A detailed lead boat with a hand-painted background. The boat is 3 1/2" and the background is 4" x 5".
This must be a very rare toy as I have never seen it before. Possibly Rock and Greiner?? It's diminuative size adds to its charm.
