Beloved Belindy with tag and early Volland Raggedy Ann

The Raggedy Ann is a nice early, all-original example. An
old repair with cotton gauze on the back of the neck probably has
been there for some time and undoubtably covers a weakness or tear in
the original fabric. There dosn't appear to be any further
deterioration of the fabric. The stamped date is visible and I
believe her dress and apron to be original. Her wooden heart is easily
felt inside the chest area. She is 16 inches tall.

The Georgene Beloved Belindy is a wonderful 18 inch example with the original tag with Johnny Gruelle name and patents. I have never seen the tag before. I am not sure if the skirt is a replacement or not...It is, however, appropriate and the print and material are of the period. A great collectors piece with the original tag. $1800
